Rx. Codonopsis Dang Shen 15-24g Tonifies the Middle Jiao and augments Qi.
With Bai Zhu, for Spleen Qi Deficiency with anorexia, loose stools and vomiting.
Rz. Atractylodis Macrocephalae Bai Zhu 12-15g Strengthens the Spleen and dries Dampness.
Rz. Zingiberis Gan Jiang 9-12g Warms the Spleen and Stomach and eliminates interior Cold.
With Zhi Gan Cao, for vomiting and epigastric pain due to Spleen and Stomach Deficiency Cold.
With Bai Zhu, for diarrhea due to Spleen Deficiency.
Rx. Glycyrrhizae Preparata Zhi Gan Cao 3-6g Tonifies the Spleen, augments Qi, moderates and harmonizes the harsh properties of other herbs and guides the herbs to all twelve channels.
With Dang Shen, for anorexia, fatigue and loose stools due to Spleen Deficiency.
Flos Caryophylli Ding Xiang 3-6g Warms the Middle Jiao, relieves pain, descends Qi, warms the Kidneys and assists Yang.
With Bai Zhu, for Spleen Qi Deficiency.
With Dang Shen, for hiccups due to Deficiency Cold.
With Gan Jiang, Dang Shen, Bai Dou Kou and Bai Zhu, for diarrhea due to Deficiency Cold.
Fr. Amomi Rotundus Bai Dou Kou 6-9g Promotes the movement of Qi, aromatically transforms Dampness, strengthens the Stomach, warms the Middle Jiao, descends Qi and stops vomiting.
